Riverside GC (North) | September 13-14

ELIGIBILITY
The Maine Senior Women’s Championship is open to female amateurs who will be 50 or older on or before September 13, 2022. All competitors must play at a Maine Golf member club and have an active GHIN from that club on or before the date they submit their application. No guests may compete in championship events.

FORMAT
The Maine Senior Women’s Championship is a two-day tournament featuring individual, 18-hole stroke play. On the first day, all registered players will compete. For the second day, only the top eighteen players will move forward to vie for the championship. Should players tie for eighteenth place after day one, a tiebreaker using USGA guidelines will decide which players will compete on day two. On day one, players may also enter an optional skins competition for $5 in addition to the entry fee. Players who move on to day two that prefer to ride will need to make arrangements for carts with the host club.

The tournament will be flighted by age groups: A (50-54), B (55-59), C (60-64), D (65-69), E (70-74), F (75+).

ENTRY INFORMATION
A player must file an online entry for the championship. She may complete an application at mainegolf.org or at the Maine Golf women's portal. Entries will not be taken over the phone.

Maine Golf has the final say in determining the field for the championship.
